Wreck yer palate with Palate Wrecker!
San Diego's Green Flash Brewery has released with I think may be the hoppiest beer I have ever tasted. Sweet Jesus, there is no joke here. With 9.5% ABV and 100+ IBU's, 6 pounds of hops in every barrel and hopped wort during the second brewing process of this double IPA makes this one hell of an aggressively hopped beer. No wonder there is a boxer on the packaging. What a wallop for your taste buds! Anybody wonder what chewing on a mouthful of hop cones would taste like? Find out with a pint of this memorable, memorable IPA.

Currently Pouring at the Duck and Jackie's Picks!
Beers of note on draft right now...
Eel river Earth Thirst Double IPA-dry, astringent hoppy goodness at 8.5%.
Timmermans Strawberry Lambic-so fruity and yummy... smells like strawberry jam but doesn't taste as sweet as it smells. No other strawberry lambics on the market. Bring on summer!
Alpine Hefeweizen-German Brewing in Oroville, WA? Jah! Bavarian style Hefe with all the spiciness and flavor you love with a wonderfully smooooth finish. Try this one, even if you don't typically like the style. It's worth exploring. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised.
New Belgium La Folie-Enough said.

nothing says casual like a steaming bowl of fresh homemade chili and a cold
beer. Come and try some of the more
interesting examples of the lager style of brewing: Dogfish Head My Antonia
Imperial Pilsner, Anchor Bock, Kostritzer Marzen, Kulmbacher Schwarzbier or
Samichlaus Dopplebock (14%). Or sit back
with some old favorites, Radeberger German Pilsner or Belgium ’s Bavik Lager in a can. Three different kinds of chili, cornbread and
all the fixin’s means that dinner is done for you and at a price that will make
you smile.

Shrink VS Bartender
EVER SINCE I WAS A CHILD, I'VE ALWAYS HAD A FEAR OF SOMEONE UNDER MY BED AT NIGHT. SO I WENT TO A SHRINK AND TOLD HIM:
'I've got problems. Every time I go to bed I think there's somebody under it. I'm scared. I think I'm going crazy.'
'Just put yourself in my hands for one year,' said the shrink. 'Come talk to me three times a week and we should be able to get rid of those fears..'
'How much do you charge?'
'Eighty dollars per visit,' replied the doctor.
'I'll sleep on it,' I said.
Six months later the doctor met me on the street. 'Why didn't you come to see me about those fears you were having?' he asked..
'Well, Eighty bucks a visit three times a week for a year is an awful lot of money! A bartender cured me for $10. I was so happy to have saved all that money that I went and bought me a new pickup!'
'Is that so!' With a bit of an attitude he said, 'and how, may I ask, did a bartender cure you?'
'He told me to cut the legs off the bed! - Ain't nobody under there now!!!'
$4 pints of Elysian Nibiru Belgian-Style Trippel
Today, all day, it's $4 pints of Elysian's Nibiru: A Belgian-style trippel brewed with yerba mate, which is a South American tea-like herb used as a stimulant and which contains moderate amounts of caffine. The 2nd installment in their 'Twelve Beers of the Apocolypse' series this beer is interestingly herbal with grassy tones and definitely a must try.
