They are turning 20!!

2014 Seattle Beer Week Events!

Saturday May 10^th-

Barrel-Aged Bonanza at Duck Island

Washington’s own family owned and operated Scuttlebutt Brewing has teamed up with Woodenville Whiskey Company and the Duck to bring you a unique Beer Week event.  We will feature at least 5 specialty oak-aged selections of Scuttlebutt brew the night of the event. From now until May 10^th, for every pint of Scuttlebutt you buy, we will enter you into a drawing to win one of 3 small Woodenville Whiskey Barrels filled with Scuttlebutt to take home with you. Come down the night of the event, hang with the Scuttlebutt guys, buy Scuttlebutt beer or a Woodenville Whiskey and get double the tickets to enter!  MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!  Event starts at 6pm

Thursday May 15^th-

4^th Annual Sausagefest at Dude Island

Fresh, handcrafted, specialty sausage flights?  Nom nom nom… Hard to find, high octane, strong ale flights?  Yum yum yum… 4 sausages, 4 sauces, four 4oz tasters of big beer, 4 years in a row!  Don’t miss it!

After a fun-filled week of beer shenanigans, it might be time to stimulate the palate and the plate with something a little different, like a cider flight / food pairing at Duck Island, perhaps?  Menu and Ciders TBA…

Cask this weekend!

Hello all!

We will be running our cask engine this weekend with an awesome selection from Machine House...

English-style IPA freshly dry-hopped with Australian Galaxy hops.  This hop variety is known for having a big tropical fruit note (passionfruit and citrus) and has a big presence on the nose.  Galaxy is perfect for dry-hopping and we are pleased to have this one on just for us!  Thanks Machine House!  

Come down and check it out this Friday, Saturday and Sunday!  Pair it with one of our awesome baskets of fish and chips (one of my favorite menu items) and save a buck off the price!   See you then!
