Saison-O-Rama… 2!

Electric Boogaloo!

Dupont… Saison Dupont   6.5% ABV
Saison Dupont is considered as “the classic” among the Belgian season beers!  Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time.  During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the “saisoniers” which were working on the fields.
Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created.
Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and taste.
Stillwater/ Brewer’s Art Collaboration… Debutante   6.4% ABV

This lovely beer pours deep golden amber and is brewed with a combination of spelt and rye, and is accented with a blend of heather, honeysuckle and hyssop.  This rustic farmhouse ale has a mellow, slightly dry mouthfeel with flavors that are a nice balance of earthiness, spices and floral notes.

Pike… Olympic Honey Saison    6% ABV

Dark gold in color, Pike has created a medium bodied beer with a nice balance of funky saison yeast, zesty spice, sweet fruit and honey.  The honey is cultivated specially in bee hives on the top of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.  Cool, huh?

Ommegang… 2011 Belgian Independence Day Saison   7% ABV

What better way to celebrate the summer and Belgian Independence Day than with a Saison? This spiced saison is a toast to the great brewers of Belgium and the proud history, which they represent. Ommegang brewers used a Wallonia Saison strain of yeast that produces fruity esters and classic earthy notes in the beer. Lemon peel, white pepper and coriander, along with grains of paradise are used to give the saison a delicate spicing.

Boulevard… Saison-Bret   8.5% ABV

Saison-Brett, based on Boulevard’s popular Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, is assertively dry hopped, then conditioned with various yeasts, including Brettanomyces, a wild strain that imparts a distinctive earthy quality.  Very refreshing and dry on the palate, with an ABV that is not to be believed.

Logsdon Farmhouse Ales… Seizoen 750 ml bottles   7.5% ABV

The unfiltered Seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally fermented and carbonated with pear juice and select yeast strains, producing complex, fruity and spicy flavors balanced with whole hops and a soft malt character.
